Have you ever been to SeaWorld in San Antonio? It is an amazing experience!! There is a mixture of rides, shows, animal experiences and so much more! Not to mention how kid friend is it! The staff makes it feel as if you are home away from home. Now about the rides, if you are a dare devil they have Steel Eel, or the Great white roller coasters. If you are feeling hot and wanting to cool off they have the Wave Breaker: The Rescue Crew, Journey to Atlantis, Rio Loco (my favorite), and Shamu Express Roller coasters. Their animal experiences go from dolphins, to killer whales, to sea lions, orcas, string rays so much more.
There is so much do to while at SeaWorld, everywhere you turn is decorated. It felt as if you stepped into a dream life, and definitely somewhere I am planning on going back.
Glad Plug-Ins are the bomb! When I first tried this product, I was kind of iffy about it. I was thinking “it’s not going to work” “How can something this affordable make my house smell so good?”. However, with my doubts I still proceeded to try Glade Plug in.
I could not believe the difference it made in just ONE day. I had tried candles, scented waxes, and scented oils. I don’t feel like any of those hardly made a different compared to the glade plug ins. They are easy to plug in, easy to connect your scent of choice. One plug in can go a long way with making it smell good. My favorite refills are the Hawaiian Breeze and the Vanilla Passion Fruit.
This is definitely an item you will want to try!! #glade #gladeplugins
Being a realtor in Texas has been an interesting adventure for me! My first sell was with my parents (what would we do without our parents). They were wanting to purchase a condominium! “Yay a condo will be fun and such a learning experience!” I remember thinking. And a learning experience it was. My broker had been in business I want to say 15-20 years and never had done a condominium sell before. At this point I was curious as to what exactly I was getting myself into. We looked at about five different places when we they found their (and my) dream vacation spot! “This is it, this is great now all we have to do is agree on a price!” is what I thought after my parents confirmed they are wanting to purchase the condo! With an ocean front view, two stories, a heat pool, and a great amount of grass area for their dogs. It was perfect!
I filled out the contract, learned about HOAs, monthly dues to maintain the yard, and any special provisions my parents or the sellers wanted. After many phone calls, stressful conversations, and unagreeable terms we finally got everything settled! I received a phone call letting me know my clients are able to purchase the condominium!! I learned so much, and feel that my first sell turned out pretty good. 😊
Being a substitute teacher for a few classes, I would see students the first few days of school without the proper supplies they needed and it broke my heart! I cannot stand to see a child go without, therefore below are a list of things that someone can do to make sure they can receive the proper supplies for school.
1. Check out Local School Supply Stores
Organizations across the country provide free supplies to teachers from qualifying schools. Kids in Need Foundation, which helps support the nation’s teachers and students.
2. Try an Online Group
Join a Yahoo Group or a Google+ community and post a request for the supplies you need. You can even use this group to promote your school supply drives.
3. Utilize Your Community
Contact local churches, charities and nonprofit organizations, and research local distribution projects. The American Red Cross usually holds school supplies drives at their local chapters. (Our church will band together to help any child in need! As I am sure most do!!!)
4. Seek Out Backpack Programs
Backpack programs — such as the Office Depot Foundation’s National Backpack Program, Schools on Wheels and School Ready Supplies — donate supply-filled backpacks to students.
5. Go Online
Craigslist doesn’t just sell items, it gives them away for free! Under the “For Sale” category, click on “free” and search for whatever supplies your child needs. You can also search Freecycle.org, a grassroots movement that connects people who are giving (and getting) stuff for free in their own towns.
6. Check With Your School District
Some states require public school districts to provide necessary school supplies to children. Certain districts are also required to provide books and school supplies for children whose parents cannot otherwise afford them.
