Tanner Turns Three!

Tanner Turns Three!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have twenty little kids running around?? Yup not something many people would like but that what happens when you have a three-year old’s birthday! We had a blast, and had so much fun with everyone who came. Spiderman was the theme of the party. So, we had a Spiderman cake, Spiderman cupcakes, Spiderman gifts, Spiderman decorations, Spiderman everything, if it had anything to do with Spiderman then you know it was there!

It was like a three-year old’s Spiderman heaven! We had a double water slide that had a tiny pool at the bottom of it and the kids would not get out. The water slide is called a Vortex. It has two water slides that pour water down the slides. Then we had a camo monster truck jumpy house that the kids LOVED. The weather was perfect, if I could relive that day forever I would! The gifts were Tanners favorite part. Tanner received huge Spiderman and hulk action figures. He received two books that you press the images on the side of the book and they make noises and talk to you as you read the story, which is one of Tanners favorite types of books. He received a paw patrol piggy bank that he can paint. A Spiderman towel and Spiderman web shooter (which he has not put down since the party). We also had a balloon section that had about 6 balloons on a weight with a big red “3” so we could get some third birthday pictures. Overall this birthday has been one of the most amusing birthdays I have been too much less hosted. Please let me know in the comments any exciting birthday parties you have been too. Talk to you soon 😊

Houston Zoo!

Houston Zoo Fun!

Having a little one you always try to find ways to entertain them! This week we agreed on the Houston Zoo! An amazing experience full of animals and frozen lemonade. Going on a weekday was defiantly a great choice, it was not packed and there happened to be a nice breeze! We like to pack light when we travel to different places so choosing a bag was easy thanks to the How to Choose Dry and Water Proof Bags website.

First, we started at the little kid’s aquarium called Kipp Aquarium at the beginning of the entrance. We took a voyage under the sea. The aquarium was filled with coral reefs from the Pacific, the Amazon Basin, and the Rift Valley lakes of Africa. We saw Dory, Nemo, jellyfish, seahorses, and many other sea animals. Next, we saw the sea lion show! The water was so clear we could see every little turn, tricks, and spin perfectly. It was so peaceful and nice, this was defiantly a great entrance into the zoo.

We enjoyed viewing all the animals and stopped by the elephant exhibit for an exciting show. We were to view the elephant getting a bath at the elephant barn. The elephants loved the water and it was a beauty to see them in their natural habitat. On May 2017, the zoo completed doubling the size of the elephant pen.  Along with doubling the exhibit, the zoo added a 16,00-gallon tank and a 7,000 squeeze-foot barn that was custom made for the elephants! They added this expansion to help endangered elephants as an effort to save them.

The zoo was filled with many different types of monkeys, zebras, giraffes, lions, tigers, wolves, and anything else you can think of. I was shocked at the number of things they had available for the price. The price is 19.95 for anyone over the age of 2. With this amazing deal, how can you not want to go? Let me know of any exciting zoo adventures you had!

Blue Hawaiian Cocktail

Blue Hawaiian Cocktail

Happy Sunday to everyone! Here is a recipe to a blue Hawaiian cocktail to hopefully add a little “fun” to your Sunday. The first time I ever tried this drink was on a date at the bowling alley and WOW what a surprise of taste! I was so shocked at how good it was I ordered a second one. I decided it was time for me to learn how bring out the bartender in me and make this drink.

This imagine is your desired look! Sometimes looks can be everything, and after you try a sip of this you will see what I mean.

The first step is to combine the Coconut Rum, pineapple juice, cream of coconut and 1 cup crushed ice in a blender then crank that blender up on high and get everything is nice and smooth. Then you will want to pour into a nice sized cup then add the pineapple slice and the cherry!

This imagine is your desired look! Sometimes looks can be everything, and after you try a sip of this you will see what I mean.

This drink would be great for any occasions especially hanging out around the beach on summer time! Let me know if you tried this drink what your thoughts are on it!

Remember drink responsibly!

Bouncing Bots!

Bouncing Bots was a blast to play. My little friends seven-year-old grandson could participate with bouncing the bots onto the scoring targets. What started out as a normal game soon escalated quickly into laughter and Bots bouncing everywhere. After one time playing this became my friends grandsons favorite game. He now pulls it out of its place in the afternoon when he comes over and we sit down and enjoy our family and friend time with this game. Bouncing Bots has brought out laughter and fun for us in the evening and has brought our friend and family together to spend quality time together. This is a game I would highly recommend for any family with children.

The game is based off of a point system. You receive points by bouncing it on the numbers on the board. Whoever has the most points at the end wins so you want to try to bounce on the highest number values to receive the most points. This game was invented by Joseph M. Bulcuk had a degree in mathematics. He created this game as an educational learning tool. He coupled with his experience teaching and his mathematics skill, which allowed him to make a unique game which encourages the children and adults to have a good time while teaching the kids. It helps with social development, mathematics, and tons of other skills a child is inspired to learn. This game contains eight creative bot characters (which the purple ones are my favorite), two platforms to bounce the bots on and a list of instructions to help understand how the game is played. This game is for 1-4 players and ages even through adulthood can play. I strongly you to encourage on game night to bring out this game, you will not be disappointed. .
